For years I collected these little
images, quotes and sayings, stickers,
bits of wrapping paper, things clipped
from magazines and kept them in a
folder. They all seemed to reflect tiny
fragments of me and who I see myself
as being. One day I decided I wanted
to do a collage using all of these
things. I wanted them to float around
me, with the subtle Yin Yang
symbolism of a light and a dark side.
It took me quite awhile to get the
center image painted and then glue on
all that stuff, but it eventually came
together ... all these little pieces of me
incorporated into the whole.
