A few years ago I worked for the
local art's council. At the time the
name was McDowell Arts & Crafts
Association and they had a logo
which didn't fit the business at all.
When the organization decided to
change the name to McDowell Arts
Council Association, keeping with
the "MACA" that was known and
familiar to local residents.
Naturally, a new logo was needed. I
decided to keep it simple, just the
name, but to incorporate color in the
word "Arts" to symbolize the variety
of arts they support.
