My neighbor, Phil, commissioned this
portrait as a birthday present for his
wife, Connie, with their grandson,
Nate. It was a secret gift planned for
her surprise party and getting photos
to work from took a bit of sneaking
between Phil and I. Through the
process, there were couple of times
when she called to chit-chat and asked
what I was working on in the studio.
Yikes! I would have to say, "Oh, just a
commission somebody asked for."
