The grandparent commissioned this
portrait of their grandchildren a few
years ago when I was getting started
with my painting career. I went over
to their house, wrangled the kids all
around the yard and took dozens of
pictures. After reviewing the
photographs the grandparents decided
this was the pose they wanted. It
captured the different characters of all
the children. I especially loved
painting those cute little bare feet!
