This is one of the oldest homes in
McDowell County. It's seen many
owners and has also been home
to several businesses. At the time
of this commission it was a
restaurant called Josephine's and
the owners hung the painting
over the fireplace in the front
dinning room. After it closed,
they took the painting with them
back to their home in Florida to
remind them of the wonder years
they spent here.
