A couple of years ago the director
of the Marion Downtown Business
Association contacted me about
creating a new logo for the DAB
office. They had relocated from
their old offices to the newly
renovated historic Depot building.
Her request was to show the
arched doors, the antique brick
work of the building and the
railroad tracks going off into the
distance. She also asked that it be
an illustration. I took several rolls
of photographs and then created
this pen & ink sketch from one of
them.
