Early in my career a local lawyer
commissioned me to paint this
portrait of his two sons as a surprise
Mother's Day gift for his wife. He
provided the photograph for me to
work from, and all the while I was
working on the painting I kept
thinking that these two boys, from
those silly grins, were probably a
handful!
