In 1999 I was struggling with the
decision to quit working in the
graphics industry and become a
full-time artist. I hadn't really
painted very much in the years prior
to that, but I loved art and I knew
how much I wanted to create fantasy
art. This was my very first attempt at
creating the art I wanted to do. Two
weeks later I turned in my notice at
work. Two weeks after that I moved
back home and seriously began
learning how to paint.
