Pricing
All of my portrait work (i.e., people, pets) is done from photographs. If you wish to commission a portrait, you will need to
mail me a VERY GOOD QUALITY 5"x7" photo for me to work from. I need to see the details of the face as clearly as
possible. I will take the utmost care in handling your photo, and it will be returned to you upon completion of the painting.
Depending on the amount of work I have at the time, it takes approximately 1-2 months to complete a portrait, size and
complexity is also a determining factor. I will send you a digital photo of the first sketch for approval, and then periodic
updates of the work in progress.
I require a non-refundable deposit and balance due for delivery. This is my method of earning a living, so I must ensure
that I am being paid for the time I spend working on your project and not waste time which could be spent on another
clients project. I accept credit card payment via PayPal, money orders, cashier checks, and personal checks which must
clear the bank before I begin work.
