The Stars At Night

In the late fall of 2007 I was contacted
by someone to paint several images with
a Texas theme for potentially selling
prints in that state through a retail
store. One of the first things to pop into
my head was the song, Deep In The
Heart Of Texas. I saw it more as an
illustration - graphic type of painting,
trying to stay away from traditional
imagery. I liked how this worked out
and think it would be a nice piece
hanging in a blue & white kitchen or
bathroom.
